Jumbo-Bag is a flexible bag that is used to carry volumes from 500 to 2000 kilograms and up to 3 cubic meters. These bags are suitable for carrying solid and dry solids, granular or pebble. Jambo-booms are raised and displaced from the upper part by using a crane or forklift truck.
This type of packaging is the least costly and most suitable type of packaging, transportation and storage of dry bulk materials that does not require any other packaging or even pallets.
Each year more than 500 million tons of cargo are deployed worldwide using Jumbo-Bag.
These bags are used to carry, move and store various types of chemicals, minerals, pharmaceuticals, food and agriculture, chemical fertilizers, petrochemicals, cement and many other bulk materials and products.
At the customer’s request, jumbo bags can be manufactured using or without laminates, as well as with or without nylon inner layer.
Jambo-bags are made from flat fabrics or polypropylene (PP). The type of fabric used to manufacture Jumbo Bag is selected based on cargo weight and safe loading capacity (SWL) and safety factor (SF).
Usually jumbo bags are produced according to customer requirements and for a variety of applications and different types of lifting, filling, and discharge modes.
Depending on the safe loading capacity (SWL), safety factor (SF) and type of cargo, jumbo bag can be produced in a simple type with an open or open mouth and suitable foam that is suitable for most industries and supplies. Or for the transportation of food and pharmaceuticals that are produced in fully sanitized and isolated workshops.
A kind of Jambo-bags that are specially designed to carry hazardous materials can be produced based on specific features developed by the United Nations.
